Anime Ltd have announced that Banana Fish will be licensed to Netflix and will arrive in full on Wednesday, 12th August, available in the UK, USA, Canada and France. The series will have a brand new English and French dub, with Brandon McInnis confirmed as the voice artist for Ash Lynx and Jonathan Tanigaki cast as Eiji Okumura.

Ash is the boss of a street-kids gang in New York. One day, a man who was murdered before his eyes entrusts him with something.
And the last words uttered by that dying man was the phrase, “BANANA FISH”.
Ash has a destined encounter with Eiji, a kind Japanese boy, but as he gets closer to the mysteries behind “BANANA FISH”, both Eiji and Ash become entangled into a massive conspiracy–!?
Animated by Studio MAPPA, the series adapts the manga by Akimi Yoshida which ran between 1985 to 1994, winning fans through its drama and gang violence, as well as the relationships and sexuality of its characters.
