Melting in the sun? You and me both so what better time to slump on the sofa and the cooling embrace of cinema? In this case Arrow's July slate of releases hitting their Arrow Channel - and there's some genuinely great films coming your way.
6th July sees the releases of Reiko Ike Pinky Violence classics (considering that intro do I even need bother naming them?) Female Yakuza Tale and Sex and Fury.
July 17th gives us The Trap - yes the final film in Kaizo Hayashi's restored Miku Hama trilogy, courtesy no doubt of Third Window.
July 24th then provides us the excellent Roman Porno A Night in Nude last seen in Third Window's 4 Tales of Nami boxset. Also, curiously out of order, is Stairway to the Distant Past, the centrepiece and arguably best film in the Miku Hama trilogy.
Not too shabby a roster by any standards.
