Bandai took the opportunity at this weekend's MCM London Expo to announce the opening of a permanent Gundam Base in London in the near future.
The shop promises to stock limited edition goods and plenty of immersive stands and displays for fans to enjoy, as well as all the usual Gunpla material a mecha fan could want.
Bandai has been operating pop-up shops until now, supporting kits, materials, gunpla and the collectable card game, though it has been noted the shop ran out of stock in the first few days and never really recovered. Hopefully a permanent presence will also come with an improved logistics chain that can consistently maintain stocks and better service the growing UK market for all things Gundam.
The store is currently planned to open in Camden Market on July 3rd.
