Crunchyroll's curated Game Vault is celebrating 2 years of anime-style gaming today. Much like Apple's Arcade, the Crunchyroll service is a single subscription to access 75 titles with the roster growing regularly. Today they've announced that Lost Hellden and Beyblade X Zone have been introduced to the service with more on the way.

ANIME-GAME EXPERIENCES!

Crunchyroll Game Vault is an anime-focused gaming experience that builds upon the brand’s extensive streaming cataloging, allowing fans to deepen their anime-fandom. Hand-picked gems such as the cozy slice-of-life adventure game Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town, cult horror classic Corpse Party, and more gives fans the opportunity to explore the source material behind fan favorite anime. Newly localized titles such as Classroom of the Elite – Merge Puzzle Special Exam – debuted outside of Japan completely revamped without microtransactions. 

NEW PORTS EXPAND MOBILE GAMING

Of the up to 75 Crunchyroll Game Vault titles available worldwide, 50 of them launched as brand-new ports, marking a key opportunity for developers to reach new platforms and audiences as well as contribute to new experiences on-the-go. The newly released titles that hit the App Store and Google Play for the first time include, Pocket Gamer GOTY contender Shogun Showdown and turn-based tactical RPG Metal Slug Tactics. 

UPDATED FAN FAVORITES 

Crunchyroll collaborated with acclaimed developers  to bring existing mobile titles to Game Vault fully updated and expanded. Crypt of the NecroDancer relaunched on mobile fully optimized for modern mobile devices and complete with content previously unavailable on the platform, including multiplayer. The ultimate arcade boxing experience Thunder Ray relaunched on mobile with new and improved touch screen controls as well as full support for game controllers.

The result is a curated collection that balances fresh mobile experiences with revitalized classics. 

Games new to the service:

  • Lost Hellden - French-developed JRPG featuring a gorgeous hand-painted 3D art style by renowned illustrator Takeshi Oga and music by celebrated composer Hitoshi Sakimoto  set to launch on PC and Console will make its mobile debut on Crunchyroll Game Vault.

  • Beyblade X Xone - based on the action-packed Xtreme Battle (don’t miss the anime on Crunchyroll!)
