Idea Factory International have announced that Death End Re;Quest 2, a Japanese RPG by Compile Heart. The first game was released to some success last year, and now the sequel has been officially greenlit for release in the West this year, as announced on Idea Factory's Facebook page.
The game splits the action into two stages - during daytime you are free to move around and gather information, but in the evening the city is eroded by curses and you must fight the monsters that appear. The graphics and artwork look suitable grim and dangerous, with attractive characters in the Compile Heat style.
