Mantic games - a company known for creating popular TTRPG's from fan-favourite franchises such as The Walking Dead and Halo, have announced a new entry to their collection with a title close to our hearts - an adaptation of the manga version of Masamune Shirow's seminal Ghost in the Shell which is aiming for a release via Backerkit this July.
The game will be a sophisticated bespoke set of rules designed by highly respected creators, legendary games designer Alessio Cavatore and award-winning writer Zak Barouh.

An immersive RPG combining fast-paced, narrative-driven mechanics with Ghost in the Shell's signature visual flair, the rulebook promises to be crammed-full of illustrations taken directly from the manga.
The game boasts the following:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing The Ghost in the Shell to the world of tabletop roleplaying” said Ronnie Renton, CEO of Mantic Games. “This is one of the most iconic and influential science fiction worlds ever created, and we’re honoured to be entrusted with the official license. Alessio and Zak have worked tirelessly to ensure every story told at the table feels true to the original manga, allowing players to live, think, and fight in the world of Major Kusanagi and the iconic Section 9.”
