Arrow Video imprint Toy Robot, as part of their plan to replicate the joys of finding weird stuff in videos shops from back in the day, have announced a Blu-Ray release for a film I thought I'd never see in HD - so rejoice as we can now retire our bad print versions of the HB Films release of Kaizo Hayashi's Zipang (yes, director of To Sleep so as to Dream and the Maiku Hama trilogy), and revel in this HD release instead.

Synopsis
Set in an alternate Japan, where modern technology meets an ancient legend, samurai outlaw Jigoku (Masahiro Takashima – GODZILLA VS. MECHAGODZILLA II) and his motley band of renegades discover the keys to a mythical kingdom of gold. Unfortunately for them, they also attract the attention of a beautiful female bounty hunter, Yuri the Pistol (Narumi Yasuda – PEACOCK KING), an ace gunslinger who soon gets hot on their tail.
