HIDIVE have announced their first official Simulcast pickup for the winter season, and it's a series based on the Rage of Bahamut game.
The original press release refers to "Mysteria Friends", possibly a West-friendly renaming of the original Manaria Friends, with Mysteria being the name of the academy from the event in the game that this series will adapt.
The series has suffered from a troubled production run - first announced in August 2015, all of the original staff were removed (due to various circumstances" according to ANN) and the series was rescheduled, announced back in October of this year.
The new staff are most notably comprised of Takashi Watanabe on music duties (Full Metal Panic, Blade of the Immortal) and Hideki Okamoto directing (Kare Kano, Flame of Recca). The series is scheduled for broadcast in January 2019.
