If the Walkure news didn't cause a pleasure overload for our Mr Seb, this will. Uta Macross has launched the English version of the site, confirming that the gacha music gam is returning in a "complete" form, with all songs and costumes in the game from the off. A distillation of everything that made the original game so compelling, plus all the great music that makes the series what it is - a chance to play along with all your favourite purveyors of Deculture!
You can find the site here - Uta Macross Official Website
A few things are clarified on the site:
The standard edition will contain the following:
- Songs: 50 songs
- Plates: Over one thousand 4-star rarity or higher plates
- Outfits: Over 20 outfits per character
Songs have been listed from Macross through to Delta. It's not yet clear if the songs from the original Macross will make it past Harmony Gold's lawyers.
DLC will also be released, so we're not quite over the pay to play model. The official line:
Some of the songs, plates, and outfits not included in the Standard Edition will be released simultaneously across several packs of additional DLC.
These packs are ideal for players who want to expand their selection of songs and outfits or relive their favorites from the game's live service version.
The game is planned for Android, iOS and Steam.
To keep an eye on updated, you can follow the official X account, though be aware this is principally in Japanese.
