The Tamagocthi arrived just a little too late for me back in the 90's, but it was a genuine craze at the time and, unlike many electronic toys of the era, has not only survived the decades but thrived. Impressive for a pet-raising sim!
The Tamagotchi Pop-Up will open its doors to welcome customers on Friday 6th November. Situated at 60, Broadwick Street in the capital’s bustling Soho district.
From the Press Release:
The pop-up will be packed with an exciting selection of exclusive, not-available-anywhere-else items for fans to snap up, including special Tamagotchi Destination UK and 30th Anniversary shells, Tama Space and a whole host of additional exclusive London themed merchandise. Special pins, patches, stickers, tote bags, apparel and lots more will be available for fans to collect in store. These exclusive items will sit alongside many popular Tamagotchi products which will be fully stocked on the shelves, including Tamagotchi stickers from SunStar, exclusive Nui Tamagotchi London design plushes, Shokugan key chains and collectable figures, Tamagotchi bath bombs, Nanoblock Tamagotchi and of course, Original, Connection, Nano and Paradise Tamagotchi devices.
There will also be the chance to win additional special prizes via regular giveaways, and new products will be continually added to the shelves, with news and announcements being shared on the Tamagotchi social channels.
A must for Tamagotchi fans old and new, the Tamagotchi Pop-Up will be open until 31st December 2026, so make sure you stop by before it’s too late!
